Steve Barker volunteers with the Dog Legislation Council of Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating fair and effective dog legislation and to preventing dog bites from all breeds.  He has been active in the fight against Breed Specific Legislation throughout Canada since 2003.

Steve spent a number of years as a trainer at two Toronto-area dog training schools before moving to British Columbia where he lives with two mixed breed dogs.
